Actually, not just wellies, you can get bags too. But the Hunter limited edition Peppa Pig wellingtons are the headliners.
Yes Hunter, the people behind the trendy wellies. Not the cheapest out there, but that Hunter ‘tag’ is the one to be seen with if you want to be high in the fashionability chart.
Not that your kids care. The selling point for them is Peppa Pig. I have one post-Peppa child (they all grown out of it eventually) and one who is still very much the target market. Peppa toys adorn every corner of her room. This collection would be her dream.
Pushing the ‘muddy puddles’ message, the boots are available for little people with handles to the side for easy on and off, as well as some slightly more grown-up boots with straps to the side, all in various colours. But the design of Peppa and the muddy splashes is across all the range.
That range also includes backpacks, available in three colours if you know where to look. The bulk of the range is available directly from Hunter, but the backpacks are to be found elsewhere if you want the full colour choice.
These backpacks are made of water-resistant nylon with Hunter branding, padded straps, a front pocket and easy access. Ideal for a day at the park if the weather looks mixed.
As for pricing, you are looking at £40 and £45 for the boots, with the backpacks at £45. All are selling fast, so don’t leave it too long if you want any of it.
Most of the range is at the Hunter website, with more of the backpack colours at the John Lewis site.
