We are actually huge Tintin fans, but oddly, we have only featured Tintin once on the site, when we spotted the amazing Rocket armchair for kids.
But we do have a lot of Tintin in the house and our little boy has a couple of these posters his wall. Bright, colourful and fascinating artwork that really hasn’t aged a day.
It is quite old too. The Tintin stories by Herge actually date from the late 1920s, with the stories and books appearing right through until Herge’s death in 1983. So that’s some catalogue and as a result, quite a range of timeless artwork too.
Pick your favourites, but we have already picked out some of ours. Above is the wonderful L’ Etoile Mystérieuse (yes, the one with the mushroom) and below you will find Objectif Lune, the follow-up On a Marché sur La Lune and finally, Le Trésor de Rackham Le Rouge. So many more to choose from too. Just have a browse.
You can pick them up unframed via Amazon for £18.95 or you can get them framed for £53.95 from the Tintin shop. Probably best to buy unframed and get a frame from somewhere like Ikea – these are 50cm x 70cm, so a standard frame size.
