How does an early learning book that looks like it’s off the shelf of a library in the 1960s grab you? if it does, check out ABC off to Sea! by Virginie Morgand, which is published by Thames and Hudson.
This is actually a new release, although you would be forgiven for thinking it was a classic reissued. It has the look and feel of the 1960s, which is probably the effect Virginie Morgand was looking for.
Anyway, it’s a ‘first book’, one that brings the alphabet to small kids via some maritime adventures. Yes, they get to learn about the sea too. A for Anchor and B for Buoy, from C for Cruise Ship to D for Dolphins..you get the idea.
Fun and it looks good on the shelf. Job done. £8.99 is the price.
