Looking at a first trip to the capital? Or do you want to relive a recent one? If either is true – or you just want a book on London – check out London Calls by Gabby Dawnay and Alex Barrow.
It’s a Tate book that actually dates back a few months now, but has only just come only our radar. If you missed it too, let us tell you that this is a 32-page hardback book that doubles up as a mini tour guide to the city.
Actually, the tour is courtesy of a pearly grandma and her granddaughter, who introduce us to the likes of the Gherkin, the Shard and the London Eye, as well as all the traditional sites and a cast of characters from the city. Together, they offer a bright and retro take on the city that’s sure to entertain and inform young children.
£7.99 is the price of the book.
