Once you get past the ‘small child’ stage, decorating a kid’s room becomes something of a challenge. it has to be just a little more hip. With that in mind, this Alien Crowd wallpaper by Kev Munday might come in useful.
It isn’t quite graffiti art for the wall (although there’s always that option if you have the budget), but it is the next best thing. Graffiti artist Kev Munday has created a wallpaper for Graham & Brown which not only looks good, it also ticks the right boxes for being a cutting edge too.
According to the artist himself: ‘Being more used to painting walls than creating wallpaper, I decided to start my design by sticking to what I know best, so I asked Graham & Brown to send me some of their most popular papers which I then pasted to some walls and set about graffitiing over. I then took my favourite results onto the computer and turned them into repeat pattern designs.’
It all sounds so simple, but looks so good. The design is printed on a non woven base, so easy to hang and easy to remove when your kids fancy a change. £20 is the cost of a roll, which is around 10 metres.
