In an age of apps, the Fisher Price Movie Viewer seems like a rather quaint and simple for of entertainment. But isn’t that what little children often want?

The classic Movie Viewer, based on vintage Super8 cameras, dates back as far as 1973 and returns here as part of the Fisher Price Classic Toys range. Yes it’s nostalgia for parents, but there is a good chance that those little movies will still brighten up an afternoon for small kids.

Talking of films, there are two cartridges to choose from (letters and numbers), each able to be watched in fast action, slow-mo, forwards or backwards.

If you know someone who will want one, the price is £28.
