I think it’s fair to say that the Barry Sheene GP balance bike by Kiddimoto is all about marketing to parents and grandparents more than kids!
From the same range as the Evel Knievel bike, this is a balance bike for ages 2 through to 6 based on the bike ridden by the 1970s British motorcycling legend.
If you don’t recall Sheene, this is the man who was both a pin-up and icon, as well as British 125cc champion aged just 20, going on to be a world champion at 500cc by 1979. He’s the man who brought motorbike racing to the masses in the UK.
This balance bike is fully-endorsed by the now-departed rider’s family and features sculpted hand grips for little hands, a steering lock so the bike will not ‘jack knife’ and 10-inch pneumatic tyres. It is made of birch ply, with the design in non-toxic childsafe paint.
£129.99 is the price and if you want the matching helmet, that retails for £34.99.
