You can buy a duffle coat for your child from all over the place. Possibly even a supermarket these days. But none will be anywhere near the Gloverall classic duffle coats for kids.
Gloverall is the ‘go to’ duffle coat seller, producing more or less the same design since the 1950s. It’s the template for all other duffles. The company started making them for children in 1956 and still makes them today.
In fact, it has different ranges for different ages, starting at ages 2 – 3, going through to 14 – 16. There are different finishes too, depending on how luxurious you want your duffle coat. The 912 pictured here is at the lower end of the range, but is still a premium item.
For your money, you get a knee length coat with a wide colour choice, a traditional wool mix double faced checkback cloth, pancake hood, detachable throat tab, fixed shoulder cape, large pockets and toggle and leather loop fastening.
£79 gets you all of that. See all the range at the Gloverall website.
