You could say it’s the best of both worlds, a cool toy for your kids and an equally hip bit of interior design for you. That’s the Qubis Haus.
Produced by Amy Whitworth Design and now available to order, Qubis Haus is uber-cool modernism for your living room. This certainly isn’t a toy to hide away. It’s a place to drop your magazines, it’s a surface for your kids to play on and of course, it’s a huge dolls house inspired by the midcentury modern era.

Not just a frame either, you can buy magnetic furnishings for the dolls house, with the option to customise with walls too – including themed walls from the likes of Ella Doran and the Southbank Centre, as well as perspex and plywood finishes.
The house/table costs £400 and the sets of furniture (bedroom, living and dining room sets) cost £35 each, but are all handmade in Wales from sustainable oak. It also has flexible designs, so you can make and unmake various pieces, limited only by your imagination.
You can find out more about Qubis Haus here and you can order the finished products at the online store.
