It’s made of crisp cotton in a halterneck-style, adorned with large white buttons down the front. The fabric is a great mid-blue palm-tree design with white and navy accents which makes for a pretty sophisticated look. It’s a great alternative to more traditional kids summerwear.

Stussy Kids x Peanuts Collection

We’re keeping fingers, toes and pretty much everything else crossed that the Stussy Kids x Peanuts Collection makes it to the UK.

Stussy teamed up with the people behind the Peanuts cartoon to create a small collection that includes t-shirts, hats, accessories (like key rings) and tote bags, some of which you can see here. As you might have noticed, it mixes the Stussy name with the classic Schulz characters for something really cool and eye-catching.

Now the bad news. The initial launch of this collection is in Japan, where it will be available from 24 May. No news on it coming to the UK as yet, but we can hope.

Piet Mondrian-inspired modernist playhouse for kids

We’re teasing you here – because this Piet Mondrian-inspired modernist playhouse is a one-of-a-kind item.

It has been designed by Stephen J. Vanze of Barnes Vanze Architects, created as a charity project and ultimately auction to benefit Rebuilding Together, which is based in Montgomery County, Maryland, USA.

The idea was to create a playhouse kids would love, but one that wold astir look good in the garden when the kids have grown up and left. We think this looks like it fits the bill perfectly.

It’s a playhouse sized 10 feet by 8 feet by 11 feet and kitted out inside with full decoration, as well as a large chalkboard, a glass panel on the floor, built-in storage, a window seat, an upstairs loft space, LED lights and glazing to let in plenty of natural light.

Here’s a welcome revival of that eighties classic, the jelly shoe.
