Now this really is something special. But you will need to dig deep to secure this 1970s Moskvitch Soviet-era miniature car for your child.
The car was originally made in the Soviet Union in the 1970s, with a more recent renovation job creating a mini vehicle described as being in ‘virtually new’ and in ‘perfect condition’.
Some changes have obviously been made to bring it up to this level. According to the seller, it has a new steering wheel, one that is ‘authentic’ in shape, colour and size and the glass is new – however that is original from the 1970s, never used back in the day.
The car is also now equipped with a 12 volt rechargeable battery, which means lluminated headlights and tail lights controlled with separate buttons on the dashboard. There is also a separate horn button, which offers the ‘authentic sound of Moskvitch’. We presumed the leather was new too, but this is apparently original to the car.
All in all, a stunning piece of retro motoring in miniature. The one downside is the price, which is £810.43 on eBay – or you can make a cheaper offer.
