Sticking to a street theme, we have a real gem – the Nike Jordan V Retro Fire Red trainers for kids.
The shoe (the Jordan V) dates back to 1990, designed by Tinker Hatfield and said to be inspired by the World War II Mustang fighter plane. It’s now been reissued in both adult and infant sizes, with all the key features, including a reflective tongue and shark teeth design on the midsole.
There’s also an upper using a mixture of white leather and perforated clear rubber plastic with under mesh, all on a multi-tonal midsole, plus a soft fleece lining. Jordan ‘Jumpman’ branding on the tongue and heel and additional branding on the sole.
In short, a classic in miniature form and yours for £45. Sizes run from three to nine.
